Well, it’s been 2 years since I’ve written about my travels.. 2016 was a busy year.. a new life, new time, new cities and wonderful new adventures. We really wanted to make it exciting so we moved again 2017.. so sit back and come along with us on our journey..

Part 1

Houston to Howell, Michigan

Yes, it’s true a job took us on this adventure and I was truly excited since I had never been in this region of the country.

From our move to several great adventures, our first was over to Canada to by furniture for the living room.. I love the wonderful people of Howell, everyone told us about a great destination..no matter if we were shopping or touring our new area.

A great furniture store in Winsdor was Coulter’s, if you’re in the area you will not be disappointed, think Canadian $$ and yes, they deliver to the Detroit metropolitan area. After our furniture shopping our sales person told us about a fabulous Italian restaurant, Il Gabbiano wonderful food..

Our first adventure was off and running.. we were totally enjoying our new surroundings..

Arriving in Michigan in May.. was a refreshing surprise, the weather was fabulous, had never experienced.. no air conditioning in May.. not in Texas.. we enjoy the weather until Mid-June, and the temperature went to a whopping 72 with no humidity.. oh my!! Yes, I know winter is coming, but before it arrives… we are enjoying MICHIGAN .

I hope you will enjoy our adventures from the past 2 Years.. but I will not bore you in one sitting… so each road trip will be a new site…
